The U.N. General Assembly adopted a resolution that referred to the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism, by only its Muslim name ("Haram al-Sharif"). The resolution was adopted on December 1, 2021, by a vote of 129 in favor, 11 against (Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Guatemala, Hungary, Israel, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, United States), 31 abstentions (Albania, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Colombia, Croatia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Germany, Haiti, Honduras, India, Kenya, Lithuania, Madagascar, Netherlands, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Sudan, Togo, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vanuatu)
