Bereaved Mother to UN: Do Not Reward Murderers and Terrorists

"Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon held a special forum Wednesday at the UN on Palestinian Authority payments to terrorists and the families of terrorists... Ruth Schwartz, the mother of Ezra Schwartz, an American citizen who was murdered by an Arab terrorist while studying in Israel in November 2015, addressed the participants at the event.

'Ezra's death broke our family and our world will never be the same. Ezra will never smile again, never bring children to the world. I will never hug him again, or tell him that I love him,' she said...

Speaking at the forum, Ambassador Danon noted that 'the reprehensible terrorists who killed Ezra receive more than $3,000 a month from the Palestinian Authority as a reward for killing innocent people.'

Danon added that 'foreign aid contributed to the PA by the international community is exploited by the Palestinians and used to support terrorism. We call on the Security Council to act to cease these payments and finally put an end to the Palestinian support for terrorism.'"
