On March 24, 2017, the UN "Human Rights" Council adopted 5 anti-Israel resolutions- 4 more than Syria, Iran, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, or any other country. One of the 5 resolutions, "Ensuring accountability and justice for all violations of international law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem," repeats false accusations of Israeli "war crimes" alleged in the one-sided UN Commission of Inquiry into the 2014 Gaza War. The resolution also points to Palestinians membership in the International Criminal Court, giving credence to the Palestinian attempt to hijack international law and use the Court as a weapon against Israel.
The resolution, submitted by Pakistan on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, was adopted by the UN Human Rights Council by a vote of 30 in favor (Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, China, Congo, Cote D'Ivoire, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nigeria, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela), 2 against (Togo, United States), 15 abstentions (Albania, Croatia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Rwanda, United Kingdom).
The resolution contains the following:
"The Human Rights Council,
...
