While the UN devotes its human rights operations to the demonization of the democratic state of Israel above all others and condemns the United States more often than the vast majority of non-democracies around the world, the voices of real victims around the world must be heard.

Five people were killed in a shooting in the Bnei Brak on Tuesday evening in at least two different places. Another person is in serious condition.

The shooting was first reported around 8:00 p.m. on HaShnaim Street. One person was found killed in a car and two other people were killed on a sidewalk nearby.

Another person was found dead on the perpendicular Hertzl Street. A fifth victim, a police officer, was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in critical condition.

The shooter was reportedly driving a motorcycle, and his body was found on Jabotinsky Street.

Another person was arrested and investigated on the scene on suspicion of assisting the shooter.

The terrorist was 27 years old from the village of Ya'bad in the northern West Bank. He was jailed for half a year in the past and had worked illegally at a building site in Bnei Brak.

Israel Police Spokesperson Eli Levy and Bnei Brak mayor Avraham Rubinstein requested that bystanders allow rescue forces to make their way to the scene and to stay away from the area.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will hold a situation assessment at 10:00 p.m. with the Defense and Public Security Ministers, the IDF Chief of Staff, Israel Police Commissioner, Shin Bet head and others, the Prime Minister's Office announced.

Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama-Hacohen said that the city's residents should stay indoors for the time being, N12 reported.

The attack is the third in a week in which 11 people were killed, making it the bloodiest in years. It is the tenth terror attack in the month of March.

Tensions have risen in anticipation of the upcoming month of Ramadan and the annual Land Day, marked on March 30 every year since six Arab Israelis were killed in Galilee protests against the planned expropriation of land on March 30, 1976.
