Islamic and Arab states are holding a first-ever global treaty on disability hostage as they attempt to insert diplomatic language for criticizing Israel into the text. The effort to insist that the treaty deal with "foreign occupation" is just one more example of their use of the UN vehicle to score political points at the expense of human rights victims everywhere.
