A knife-wielding Palestinian attempted to stab Israeli security forces at Ofra Junction in the West Bank on Thursday afternoon, according to initial reports.
The alleged terrorist in the incident was shot and killed at the scene.
According to initial reports, no Israelis were injured in the attack.
Security forces were further investigating the incident.
Thursday's incident came after a Palestinian gunman wounded three soldiers at the Focus Checkpoint that leads to Ramallah on Monday.
Security forces at the scene shot and killed Muhammed Turkman, a 25-year-old Palestinian police officer from the village of Kabatiya.
