U.N. General Assembly Committee adopts nine resolutions condemning Israel in single day

A U.N. General Assembly committee "of the whole" (compromised of all 193 members) adopted a whopping nine anti-Israel resolutions on November 10, 2017.

The resolutions will now be rubber-stamped by the plenary of the General Assembly in December.

Among other things the outrageous resolutions do the following:

1. never once mention Hamas
2. call upon Israel to protect UNRWA facilities yet never mention the terror tunnels dug under UNRWA facilities by Palestinian terrorists
3. express concern about Palestinian refugees in Syria - as Israel's fault - not Syria's
4. never specify or call for an end to "Palestinian terrorism"
5. specifically condemn only Israel or Israelis as guilty of human rights violations and acts of terror
6. demand Israel prevent violations of the human rights of Palestinians and never specifically demand Palestinians prevent violations of the human rights of Israelis
7. worry about human rights violations by Israel in the "Syrian" Golan - where Syrians being bombed and gassed by the Assad regime run to Israeli doctors for medical care
8. refer to the Temple Mount by only its Arab name, "Haram al-Sharif," deliberately omitting any reference to the Jewish and Christian connection to holy sites in Jerusalem

The totally lopsided voting pattern in support of these resolutions demonstrates how deep the plague of antisemitism has burrowed into the UN system.

Despite its promises that there would be no business as usual on Israel-bashing at the UN for the Trump administration, Nikki Haley's representative merely abstained on the bizarre resolution on the "Syrian Golan." The resolution demands Israel stop "repressing" Syrians in the Golan - notwithstanding that's where Syrians go for Israeli protection from their genocidal president.
