NOTE: K C Reddy, IPS (1974) of Assam-Meghalya cadre, who retired from United Nations in January 2012 after serving 13 years as Chief Security Advisor in UN system, was recalled and appointed Chief Security Advisor in the United Nations Supervision Mission in Syria (until then end of its mandate in August 2012).
